Dick Duquesne: Tales of a Private Dick (2015) is an 8-episode scripted comedy show that mimics the format of a 1940s radio mystery series, chronicling the case files of the semi-sober and world-weary detective, Dick Duquesne (pronounced DOO-CANE…amateurs…), Tales of a Private Dick is a wacky/slapstick film-noir adventure that is a truly hard-boiled, nail-biting, and butt-clenching experience.
This show was created by myself and Ari Stidham. We wrote each episode, performed the voices with friends and special guests, and did foley SFX when we recorded the show live every month at Open Space Theater on Fairfax in Los Angeles.
